The King’s Ginger Brand Film | Berry Bros & Rudd
Promotional material created for The King’s Ginger, the historic liqueur produced by Berry Bros. & Rudd and originally formulated in 1903 for King Edward VII as a warming, reviving drink for use in the cold outdoors.
The brief for this campaign was to reposition the drink as something to be enjoyed year-round rather than only in winter, leading to a concept built around the four seasons. The piece featured four super slow-motion liquid shots, each representing a different time of year, combining heat, texture, and atmosphere to reflect the character of the drink in varied settings.
The project involved extensive practical effects work, including controlled flame elements, custom bottle preparation, and high-speed filming using Phantom cameras at extremely high frame rates to capture the liquid (and flame) detail.
